Residential

Villas, apartments and private homes, where glazing decides how a house feels and what it costs to keep comfortable.

The house you wanted has more glass than the climate wants

Contemporary residential design is glazed. Living space opens onto terraces, bathrooms borrow light from bedrooms, and stairwells and atria bring daylight deep into the plan.

Every one of those moves has a cost in this climate — solar heat gain, glare on screens and televisions, fading of furniture and joinery, and rooms that are overlooked. The default fix is blinds and curtains on every opening, which is exactly what the design was trying to avoid.

Privacy and comfort without covering the glass

Switchable glass and smart film give a home privacy at a switch rather than permanently. A bathroom borrows light from the bedroom until the moment it is in use. A bedroom facing a neighbouring property is clear during the day and private at night.

Heat control and light control take the solar load off glazed living space, and switching can be integrated into the home automation system so it behaves like the rest of the house.

Benefits

  • Enhanced functionality

Rooms that change state instead of being fixed by a decision made in design.

  • Unmatched efficiency

  • Top-tier privacy

Complete obscurity on demand for bathrooms, bedrooms and overlooked elevations.

  • Sustainability focus
