Before you send the drawing

The questions worth settling before a quotation, so the number you get back is the number you pay.

Will it help with air-conditioning cost?
Reducing solar heat arriving through the glass reduces the load the cooling plant has to remove. The saving depends on the elevation, the glazed ratio and the existing glass, so it should be assessed per building.
What should be avoided when specifying?
The recurring mistakes are selecting low-quality glass to save cost, ignoring thermal performance ratings, appointing inexperienced installers, and not planning for maintenance access.
Which glass thickness should be specified?
It depends on the pane size, whether the panel is a partition or a door leaf, and the structural and acoustic requirement. Send the elevation and we will advise on the make-up.
What ratings are available?
Fire-protective products are typically rated from 20 to 180 minutes, with area and size limits applying to the assembly. The required rating comes from the project's fire strategy.
Can existing glass partitions be upgraded?
Yes. Retrofit switchable film is applied to partitions that are already installed, which is the normal route for occupied offices and leased space.
